We have another update to SDScribe™ 2019, v.5.09 (the previous release was v.5.08). This is a free update for SDScribe™ 2019 customers.
This update includes revisions in the SDS, Substance, and Production/Inventory Manager sections.
Substances section
There is now a Remember button on the entry form, next to the selected view drop-down menu ("Full view", "Chem compnt view", or "Ingred & prod view"). Pushing this button causes the program to always use a particular view for the Substance record. It will maintain that view even if the default view changes (on other Substance records) to one of the other two choices.
Production and Inventory Manager
Previously, if a change in ingredient amount(s) resulted in a batch size difference of less than 2 percent, then the program would continue to use the old batch size. Using the old batch size could result in a total concentration up to 2 percent different from 100 percent. The program now uses the recalculated size in all cases.
Other revisions
The update also includes some more minor fixes and enhancements. To see the whole list, select "About SDScribe..." from the Help menu.
How to update to v.5.09
If you are currently running SDScribe™ v.5.08, the program should notify you that an update is available for download. If you are running v.5.06 or earlier (but still a 5.0x version, meaning SDScribe™ 2019), there will not be a notification that the new version is available. In this case, you can go to the existing customers page (click on the "Download SDScribe™ 2019" button near the bottom of the page.)
